ABOUT SPANISH 4 CHILDREN

Mission Statement

I teach Spanish in a safe and motivating school environment that promotes values, and respectful interaction. I work to develop children’s intellectual, creative, social, emotional, and physical growth.

History

I have been teaching kids since 1988. In 2004 I started teaching Spanish in a small room at a local church. As the program became more popular I expanded into several nearby cities' Parks and Recreation departments and schools. Now I am in a new location where classes will be offered in a more expansive area with a greater number of ways to teach and learn Spanish.

 Meet The Teacher

I was born in Guatemala and raised in Honduras. I graduated from Diablo Valley College in 2000 with an Associate Degree (AA) in Early Childhood Education. I currently live in Walnut Creek, California, with my husband and two children.

                                                                                                        Zumbini Instructor

Hola everyone! My name is Miriam Lattanzi and I am so excited to share this great Parent and Child program called Zumbini with you. Zumbini is a fantastic and energetic class for children ages 0-5 based on music, dance, instruments, and singing. Watching children's smiles and hearing their laughter as they engage in Zumbini brings me joy. My goal is to give each family the opportunity to bond, dance and sing so freely. When I first heard about Zumbini I quickly knew it was the right fit for me to teach. I have been an Early Childhood Educator for 15 years and I love to dance. The music of Zumbini is very catchy and likable for children and together we (the music, parent or caregiver, and myself) help the child develop in their social, emotional, and cognitive skills.

I am currently teaching and Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill CA. I am also a Zumbini for School licensed instructor. I can bring Zumbini to your school!
